We are pleased to announce the second keynote speaker for KidLitCon 2015 (with Tracey Baptiste).

Carrie’s forthcoming book, Cuts Both Ways, deals with sexuality, addiction, home improvement, babysitting, and just how satisfying it can be to work in a diner. It grabs the contradictory nature of adolescence with both hands and wrestles it to the ground under the swingset.

Carrie Mesrobian teaches writing to teens in Minneapolis, where she lives with her husband and daughter. She has also worked as a teacher in both public and private schools. Her first book, Sex & Violence, was named a Kirkus Reviews and Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year, in addition to being nominated for the William C. Morris YA Debut Award. She has also written another young adult novel, Perfectly Good White Boy. Learn more about her and her fake boyfriends at www.carriemesrobian.com or @CarrieMesrobian
